A plaque treatment catheter assembly for performing arterial plaque treatment and clot removal is disclosed. One assembly includes a second catheter tube movable within the first catheter tube and an expansion member movable within the second catheter tube. The second catheter tube has one or more plaque treatment portions disposed distally and expandable outwardly. Another assembly includes a catheter tube and at least one channel present in the catheter. The channel includes an elongate member with a distally placed plaque scoring member or clot collection member.
