An absorbent article for personal hygiene comprising: a topsheet, a backsheet, an absorbent core, the backsheet comprising a plastic film having a longitudinal tear strength measured in N/cm the absorbent core being partially attached to the plastic film of the backsheet by a first glue wherein at least a continuous area of 10mm in longitudinal direction and 25mm in transversal direction of the bottom side of the core is unattached to the backsheet by the first glue or by any other means of attachment. In the first glue application area, the absorbent article has a core-to-backsheet peel strength measured in N/cm, such that the core-to-backsheet peel strength ranges from 10% to 40% of the longitudinal tear strength of the plastic film.Un artículo absorbente para la higiene personal que comprende: un lienzo superior, un lienzo inferior, un núcleo absorbente, el lienzo inferior comprende una película plástica que tiene una resistencia longitudinal al desgarro medida en N/cm el núcleo absorbente se une parcialmente a la película plástica del lienzo inferior por un primer pegamento en donde al menos un área continua de 10 mm en dirección longitudinal y 25 mm en dirección transversal del lado inferior del núcleo no se une al lienzo inferior por el primer pegamento ni por ningún otro medio de unión en el área de aplicación del primer pegamento, el artículo absorbente tiene una resistencia al desprendimiento del núcleo del lienzo inferior medida en N/cm, de manera que la resistencia al desprendimiento del núcleo del lienzo inferior está en el intervalo de 10 % a 40 % de la resistencia longitudinal al desgarro de la película plástica.
