PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire having a bend at its tip in which when the guide wire is pushed and advanced in a tube in the inside of a body, a change in the shape of the bend at the tip of the guide wire is suppressed while maintaining excellent handleability.SOLUTION: In a guide wire 1 which includes a core shaft 2, an outer coil 3, a rear end joint part 4, and a tip joint part 5, and is provided with a bend 11 at the tip part, an inner coil 6 is disposed inside the outer coil 3, the tip of the inner coil 6 is connected to the tip joint part 5, and the rear end is positioned closer to the rear end side than the bend 11, and joined to the core shaft 2 through an inner coil rear end joint part 7.
