PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reconstruction apparatus which accelerates producing process of an image while improving resolution.SOLUTION: The image reconstruction apparatus 402 reproduces a known double array filter 54 in real space, and generates in advance a non-magnifying array filter 62 having the same number of arrays as that of projection data 61 by extracting a number of pieces of data that matches the number of arrays of the projection data 61 from the reproduced double array filter 54. The image reconstruction apparatus 402 carries out filtering with respect to the projection data 61 using the non-magnifying array filter 62, doubles or enlarges the number of arrays of a non-magnifying filtering result 63, and carries out reconstruction processing of a tomographic image using the enlarged number of arrays. By doing so, the calculation amount is reduced while improving resolution. When enlarging the number of arrays, a value acquired by weighted addition of interpolation coefficients whose sum is smaller than 1 to each element of the non-magnifying filtering result 63 may be inserted between the elements of the non-magnifying filtering result. By doing so, sharpened double array data are acquired.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】 分解能を向上しつつ、画像の生成処理を高速化することが可能な画像再構成装置を提供する。【解決手段】 画像再構成装置402は、既知の2倍配列用フィルタ54を実空間上に再現させ、再現した2倍配列用フィルタ54から投影データ61の配列数分のデータを抜き出すことにより投影データ61の配列数と同じ配列数の等倍配列用フィルタ62を予め作成しておく。画像再構成装置402は、投影データ61に対して等倍配列用フィルタ62を用いたフィルタ処理を行い、等倍フィルタ処理結果63の配列数を2倍に拡張し、拡張された配列数で、断層像の再構成処理を行う。これにより分解能を向上しつつ計算量を低減できる。また配列数を拡張する際、等倍フィルタ処理結果63の各要素に和が1未満の補間係数を重み付け加算した値を各要素間に挿入すれば、先鋭化した2倍配列データを得ることができる。【選択図】図3
