PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always avoid the failure of first and second tube ends in joining together without the need for any complicated operations, when they are fused together.SOLUTION: A tube joining device 1 includes a controller 15 for the control of clamp driving motors 13, 14. The controller 15 has a mechanism that changes the positions, with clamp driving motors 13, 14, between a separation position in which the clamp mechanisms 10, 11 are moved to directions away from each other and a position where they join together at their joining ends subtracts the separate distance of the clamp mechanisms 10, 11 when being joined together from a separation distance of the clamp mechanisms 10, 11 at a separation position to obtain a projection degree for each joint end of tubes 100, 102 makes a comparison of these two measured projection degrees in light of the predetermined appropriate range of projection degree necessary for making sure of avoiding the failure of their correct joint and further notifies any obtained projection degree deviated from an appropriate range to the controller.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】第1及び第2チューブの接合端部を溶融して接合する場合に、煩雑な作業を必要とせずに接合不良を確実に回避できるようにする。【解決手段】チューブ接合装置1は、クランプ駆動モータ13,14を制御する制御部15を備えている。制御部15は、クランプ駆動モータ13,14によってクランプ機構10,11を互いに離れる方向に移動させた離間位置と、接合端部同士が当接する当接位置とに切り替え、離間位置にあるときの両クランプ機構10,11の離間距離から当接位置にあるときの両クランプ機構10,11の離間距離を差し引いてチューブ100,102の接合端部の突出度合いを得て、得られた突出度合いと、接合不良の回避が可能な予め設定された突出度合いの適正範囲とを比較し、得られた突出量が適正範囲外である場合に報知するように構成されている。【選択図】図2
