PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic observation device capable of properly performing attenuation correction of an ultrasonic wave, an operating method and operating program of the same.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic observation device comprises: a division part which divides an ultrasonic image or area of interest generated on the basis of an echo signal; a frequency analysis part which calculates a plurality of frequency spectra by analyzing the frequency of a signal generated on the basis of the echo signal; an attenuation correction part which calculates each feature quantity of the plurality of frequency spectra and calculates the corrected feature quantity of each frequency spectrum by performing attenuation correction to the feature quantity of each frequency spectrum in each of a plurality of attenuation factor candidate values; a partial attenuation factor setting part which sets the partial attenuation factor most suitable to an observation object for each divided area; an optimum attenuation factor setting part which sets the optimum attenuation factor in the ultrasonic image or area of interest on the basis of the plurality of partial attenuation factors; and a feature quantity image data generation part which generates feature quantity image data displayed together with the ultrasonic image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
