In accordance with the present invention there is provided a method for deoxygenation of a first liquid, which method comprises contacting said first liquid with a membrane, which membrane is on its filtrate side in contact with a second liquid comprising an oxygen scavenger. There is provided a second method for deoxygenation of a first liquid which method comprises contacting said first liquid with a membrane, which membrane is on its filtrate side in contact with an oxygen-lean sweep gas. The invention is also directed to an apparatus for carrying out these methods. The present invention provides a very efficient means to deoxygenate liquids of all sorts, such as CO2 scrubbing solutions and beverages.Conformément à la présente invention, l'invention concerne un procédé de désoxygénation d'un premier liquide, lequel procédé comprend la mise en contact dudit premier liquide avec une membrane, ladite membrane étant sur son côté filtrat en contact avec un second liquide comprenant un désoxygénant. L'invention concerne un second procédé de désoxygénation d'un premier liquide, lequel procédé consiste à mettre en contact ledit premier liquide avec une membrane, laquelle membrane se trouve sur son côté filtrat en contact avec un gaz de balayage pauvre en oxygène. L'invention concerne en outre un appareil permettant la mise en œuvre de ces procédé. La présente invention concerne un moyen très efficace pour désoxygéner des liquides de toutes sortes, telles que des solutions de lavage de CO2 et des boissons.
