PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of reducing the content of serine protease and/or serine protease zymogen of plasma-derived protein compositions.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to manufacturing methods of plasma-derived protein compositions and to aqueous and lyophilized compositions in which the content of serine protease and/or serine protease zymogen is reduced by contacting the composition with finely divided silicon dioxide (SiO) and separating the SiOfrom the composition to remove the bound serine protease.
