PURPOSE: A production method of papaya leaf tea is provided to maximize the abundant flavor of the papaya leaf tea, and to offer excellent functionality.CONSTITUTION: Papaya leaves are collected at 5-8 in the morning. The collected leaves are assorted and washed. The washed leaves are finely cut. The cut leaves are firstly and secondly dried. The secondly dried leaves are collected, and steeped in solvent water. The obtained extract is decompress-concentrated. The washing step is conducted by firstly washing the leaves using 15-25°C cold water for 25-35 minutes, secondly washing the leaves using tepid water for 15-25 minutes, and thirdly washing the leaves using 55-65°C warm water for 5-15 minutes.
