PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide core particles for a drug preparation, which has characteristics required for a core particle and shows suppressed or no reactivity with drug preparations (pharmaceutically active ingredients) that are unstable against alkali.
SOLUTION: The core particles are used for forming a coating film containing a pharmaceutically active ingredient on its surface, and characterized in that (1) the core particles contain a pharmacologically acceptable inorganic material, (2) the inorganic material is poorly water-soluble, and (3) the inorganic material has a pH of <5.
