The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the metastasis of cancer comprising an antibody that specifically binds to epidermal growth factor receptor as an active ingredient, and a method for inhibiting cancer metastasis using the composition. The composition or method is effective to inhibit the invasion of various gastric cancer cell lines induced by EGFR ligands. Therefore, the pharmaceutical composition can be useful for inhibiting cancer metastasis.본 발명은 표피 성장 인자 수용체에 특이적으로 결합하는 항체를 유효성분으로 포함하는 암의 전이를 억제하는 약학 조성물과 상기 조성물을 이용하여 암의 전이를 억제하는 방법을 제공한다. 상기 조성물 또는 방법은 EGFR 리간드에 의해 유도되는 다양한 위암 세포주의 침윤을 억제하는데 효과적이다. 따라서, 상기 약학 조성물은 암의 전이를 억제하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
