PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive apparatus for observation of anterior ocular segment to measure the curvature radius of the front and rear surfaces of a cornea and a crystalline lens in an eye to be examined by analyzing an optical cross-sectional image.
SOLUTION: The apparatus for observation of anterior ocular segment includes: a fixation target projection optical system 2 for projecting a fixation target onto the eye to be examined 202 which is positioned at an eye to be examined position 201 assumed on the optical axis 11 slit light irradiation optical systems 3A, 3B for irradiating the eye to be examined with slit light optical cross-sectional observation optical systems 4A, 4B for observing the optical cross-section of the eye to be examined with the slit light from an oblique part and a base body 1 where the fixation target projection optical system, the slit light irradiation optical systems, and the optical cross-sectional observation optical systems are arranged in position relation that the optical cross-section of the eye to be examined by the slit light is in parallel having an interval with the optical axis 11a of the fixation target projection optical system in the neighborhood of the eye to be examined, and also the optical cross-sectional observation optical systems observe the optical cross-section from the oblique part on the opposite side of the optical cross-section of the eye to be examined by the slit light with respect to the optical axis 11a in the neighborhood of the eye to be examined in the fixation target projection optical system.
