An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for controlling the temperature of a heater included in an aerosol generating device depending on the type of a cigarette, wherein the method comprises the following steps: a profile receiving step of receiving a temperature profile for each type of cigarette from a user terminal； a cigarette sensing step of sensing a cigarette combined with the heater after receiving the temperature profile； a profile selecting step of identifying the type of the detected cigarette and selecting a temperature profile corresponding to the identified type in the temperature profile； and a power control step of controlling power of a battery supplied to the heater depending on the selected temperature profile.본 발명의 일 실시 예는, 사용자단말로부터 궐련의 종류별 온도프로파일을 수신하는 프로파일수신단계； 상기 온도프로파일을 수신한 후에 히터와 결합되는 궐련을 감지하는 궐련감지단계； 상기 감지된 궐련의 종류를 파악하고, 상기 온도프로파일 중에서 상기 파악된 종류와 대응되는 온도프로파일을 선정하는 프로파일선정단계； 및 상기 선정된 온도프로파일에 따라 상기 히터에 공급되는 배터리의 전력을 제어하는 전력제어단계를 포함하는 궐련의 종류별로 에어로졸 생성장치에 포함된 히터의 온도를 제어하는 방법을 제공한다.
