A leash includes two selectively lockable loops at opposed ends. One loop is adjustable in size to fit about an animals neck and includes a sheath for purposes of comfort and for defining the size of the first loop. A second loop is adjustable in size for the hand of a user or for attaching the leash to an anchor point. A sheath extends along the second loop for comfort and for defining the size of the second loop.
