PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily display text at an appropriate position by displaying a mark indicating an object region of the text of comment of an ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic image diagnostic device S comprises: a display part 17 which displays an ultrasonic image an operation input part 11 which receives input of the direction and position of a mark indicating the direction of an object region of comment of an ultrasonic image and a control part 18 which arranges the mark on the ultrasonic image to display it on the display part 17 in accordance with the direction and position of the mark input to the operation input part 11 and arranges a cursor for text input at the position in the vicinity of the end of a direction reverse to the direction indicated by the mark and where the text of the comment does not overlap with the mark to display it on the display part 17. In the ultrasonic image diagnostic device S, the operation input part 11 receives input of the text to the displayed cursor and the control part 18 arranges the text input to the operation input part 11 at the position of the cursor to display it on the display part 17.
