The present invention relates to a stem cell composition for intravenous administration, which contains stem cells at a concentration of 1×107 to 5×108 cells/ml, in which the stem cells have a diameter of 10-20 μm and are present as single cells. The stem cell composition according to the present invention is suitable for intravenous administration, and enables the stem cells to securely reach a target tissue after intravascular administration so as to exhibit their activity in the target tissue. Thus, it can significantly increase the therapeutic effects of the stem cells.
