PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living tissue discrimination device and method, capable of discriminating whether a living tissue is normal or abnormal at high precision.
SOLUTION: The living tissue discrimination device includes infrared reflection spectrum obtaining means (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, and 14) to obtain infrared reflection spectrum information from the living tissue, and an operation means 11 to discriminate whether the living tissue is normal or abnormal based on the infrared reflection spectrum information obtained by the infrared reflection spectrum obtaining means. The operation means 11 discriminates whether the living tissue is normal or abnormal based on disparity between adjoining voxels in infrared reflection intensity on the surface of the living tissue.
