PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach an absorbent article to a proper position easily, regardless of a shape of panties and a body type of a user, achieve good attachment property and prevent leakage.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises side part flaps 10 formed by extending a rear surface sheet 2 and side nonwoven fabric parts 7 to side parts of an absorber 4 over whole length of a napkin, and end edges of the side part flaps 10 are formed into an almost linear shape along a napkin longitudinal direction. The side part flaps 10 comprise: a gathering forming part 11 in which an inner side part of a crotch part in a width direction forms a part of a loop-state three-dimensional gathering BS, in an attachment state, in which a part extended from a crotch part of panties 30 to a side part is folded to a non-skin side and is fixed to an outer face of the panties 30； a wing forming area 12 in which an outer side part of the crotch part in the width direction forms a wing-state flap W； and a hip hold forming area 13, in which a rear part forms a hip hold flap HF for covering a hip part in the panties.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
