An irrigation catheter (10) includes a handle (12), a catheter sheath (14) with at least one ablation electrode proximal the distal end of the catheter sheath (14) and a stylet for deflecting the distal end of the catheter sheath (14). The ablation electrode includes at least one irrigation opening (36) in it. The irrigation catheter further includes a fluid carrying formation (38) formed on the catheter sheath (14) under the ablation electrode (28). The fluid carrying formation (38) is in fluid communication with the irrigation lumen (22) of the catheter sheath (14) so that fluid is conveyed from the irrigation lumen (22) to the irrigation opening (36).La présente invention concerne un cathéter dirrigation (10) qui comprend une poignée (12), une gaine de cathéter (14) avec au moins une électrode dablation proximale par rapport à lextrémité distale de la gaine de cathéter (14) et un stylet pour dévier lextrémité distale de la gaine de cathéter (14).
