A syringe assembly having an exterior surface (82) and defining a chamber having a stopper (40) disposed therein is disclosed. The syringe assembly includes a plunger assembly (31) having an elongated plunger rod (72) and a handle portion (32) connected thereto, the plunger rod including a depending leg (33) and at least one hinge (46) connecting the depending leg with the handle portion. The plunger rod is adapted to transition from a collapsed position, in which at least a portion of the depending leg extends along at least a portion of the exterior surface of a syringe barrel, to an extended position in which at least a portion of the depending leg engages the stopper. The at least one hinge maintains the depending leg substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the syringe barrel in both the collapsed position and the extended position.Cette invention concerne un ensemble-seringue comprenant une face externe (82) et définissant une chambre comportant un bouchon (40).
