The invention addresses the problem of providing an applicator for medical-use liquids that can uniformly extract a suitable amount of a medical-use liquid such as disinfectant from an application pad and accurately apply a prescribed amount. Provided is an applicator for medical-use liquids comprising a handle section comprising a hollow cylindrical member, a liquid container built into the cylindrical member, and a means for cleaving the liquid container, and an application section comprising an application pad mounting plate 10 (integrally) fixed to the bottom of the cylindrical member so as to have an inclined cross section, and an application pad that is attached to the mounting plate, wherein the mounting plate 10 is provided with an embankment 12 with the circumferential edge formed to be thick, a base 13 with the center formed as a recess, an inclined discharge hole 14 opened at an angle to the base so that the liquid near the center of the base is discharged toward the distal end of the mounting plate, and a dam 15 provided in an arc shape or a crescent shape. The amount of liquid penetrating into the application pad is adjusted by the dam 15 reversing the flow of liquid discharged from the inclined discharge hole.
