PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination of a sucrose fatty acid ester surfactant with a predetermined amount of a specific vegetable oil that can solve a problem that there still exists a need for a makeup-remover product having properties required of products combining high performances for all types of makeup (conventional and long-lasting products) with practicality and comfortableness in use while including nature-derived ingredients very innocuous to keratinous substances.SOLUTION: The cosmetic composition includes an aqueous phase, at least 35 wt.% of jojoba oil based on the total weight of the composition, and at least one sucrose fatty acid ester. The obtained composition exists in a gel form.
