A color flow imaging method and an ultrasonic imaging system are provided. The ultrasonic imaging system includes: a transceiver unit configured to transmit an ultrasonic wave signal for acquisition of a C-mode image to a subject and receive an ultrasonic wave echo signal reflected from the subject a storage unit configured to store the received echo signal a control unit configured to output an interpolated signal by interpolating ensembles of at least one scan line for acquisition of the C-mode image identified based on the received echo signal and an image processor configured to form the C-mode image based on the interpolated signal and to output the C-mode image on a display unit.
