The method involves continuously sensing fluidity of a paste by a suitable device that evaluates change in viscosity of the paste and adds water to the paste, if the viscosity changes, to maintain the fluidity of the paste. The change in viscosity of the paste is evaluated by measuring forces generated or utilized at the level of dosing units of a metering pump (3) using force sensors that are connected to a logic controller, where the paste includes a fixed amount of dry matter such as cereal flour, and a variable amount of liquid such as water. An independent claim is also included for a dosing machine for obtaining a paste and maintaining fluidity of the paste throughout continuous feeding of palmipeds.Le procédé d'obtention d'une pâte et ou de maintien de sa fluidité tout au long du gavage en continu de palmipèdes, ladite pâte étant constituée d'un mélange de matières sèches et de liquide dont la fluidité décroit et la viscosité croit au fur et à mesure de l'opération de gavage, se caractérise essentiellement en ce qu'est capté en continu un indicateur de la fluidité de la pâte par tout dispositif adapté qui permet d'évaluer l'évolution de la viscosité de la pâte et de l'adapter au fur et à mesure de cette évolution en vue de la corriger par apport d'eau.
