Embodiments of the invention can include providing a capability model of a procedure, the capability model being based at least in part on one or more previous capabilities of the procedure. Embodiments can further include obtaining capability data while the procedure is being performed, wherein the capability data is based at least in part on sensor data received from one or more motion sensing devices. Embodiments can further include determining a capability metric for the procedure, wherein the capability metric is determined by comparing the capability data to a capability model. Embodiments can further include outputting a result, the result being based on a capability metric.
