PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scoop net enabling a taking-in net for taking fish in and fish present in the vicinity to be precisely recognized even in night fishing in deep darkness.SOLUTION: The scoop net is obtained by attaching a taking-in net 1 through a linking tool 3 to the tip of an extendable handle 2, and further attaching lightening equipment 5 for lightening the front part to which the taking-in net 1 is attached, to the frontward stepped face 3a of the linking tool 3. The lightening equipment 5 is regulated so as to be automatically lightened when the handle 2 is extended so as to illuminate the vicinity of a site to which the taking-in net 1 is attached even when taking the fish in the taking-in net 1 in a full state of both hands by installing a switch 8 for automatically turning on the connection with a dry battery 6 of an electric source when the handle 2 is extended and turning off the connection when the handle 2 is contracted.
