Disclosed are a cavitation seed for delivering a drug and a method for delivering a drug using the cavitation seed. The cavitation seed according to the present invention comprises: a shell forming an external surface so as to maintain an external shape in a fluid； and a core positioned inside the shell to determine the buoyancy of the cavitation seed in the fluid. Therefore, cavitation by ultrasonic waves is induced at a position near the epidermis, thereby improving an effect of delivering a drug into the body. In addition, the present invention can be applied to delivery of various drugs as well as skin beauty, such as skin whitening, a hair remover, a hair restorer, and a skin filler, and skin treatment, such as a skin painkiller, a topical anesthetic, genetic diseases including psoriasis, and skin cancer.약물을 전달하기 위한 캐비테이션 시드 및 캐비테이션 시드를 이용한 약물 전달 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 캐비테이션 시드(cavitation seed)는 유체 내에서 외형을 유지하도록 외면을 형성하는 막(Shell) 및 막의 내부에 위치하여 상기 유체 내에서 상기 캐비테이션 시드의 부력을 결정하는 코어(core)를 포함한다. 따라서, 표피 가까운 위치에서 초음파에 의한 공동화(cavitation)가 유발되므로 체내로 약물 전달 효과를 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한, 피부 미백, 제모제, 발모제, 피부용 필러(filler) 등의 피부 미용, 피부용 진통제, 국부 마취제, 건선과 같은 유전적 질환, 피부암 등의 피부 치료뿐만 아니라 다양한 약물 전달에 적용할 수 있다.
