PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a variety identification method which is developed over a development period which is shorter than a conventional method and which requires lower development cost.SOLUTION: Since the types of flavonoids and the relative amounts of various types of flavonoids do not change by plant tissues or their development stages, but will change by varieties, as a result of the preparation, comparison, and examination of flavonoid-containing extracts at various periods from plant tissues, it is possible to use the relative amounts of flavonoids in the flavonoid-containing extracts for the identification of varieties of plants.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来法よりも、開発期間が短く、かつ、必要な開発費用が少ない品種識別法を開発することを、本願発明の課題とする。【解決手段】植物の組織から、種々の時期に、フラボノイド含有抽出物を調製し比較検討した結果、植物の組織および成長段階によってフラボノイドの種類および、各種フラボノイドの相対量が一定であり、かつ、品種によって異なること、そのため、フラボノイド含有抽出物中のフラボノイドの相対量を植物の品種同定のために用いることができることを見出し、上記課題を解決した。【選択図】なし
