PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment method, heat treatment apparatus, consecutive heat treatment system, and table for placing an object to be treated, in which heat treatment article quality is improved.
SOLUTION: The heat treatment method is a method for heat-treating an object 21 to be treated by means of heated or cooled temperature-conditioned gases and uses a horizontally installed or horizontally movable placing table. The placing table is a ventilation placing table 11 having a placing table vent hole 12 which holds the object to be treated but is capable of making the temperature-conditioned gases pass therethrough or a hold placing table having an insert holding hole which is capable of inserting and holding a box accommodating the object to be treated therethrough. The insert holding hole of the hold placing table is capable of making the temperature-conditioned gases pass therethrough while inserting and holding the accommodation box and/or the accommodation box has an accommodation box vent hole which holds the object to be treated but is capable of making the temperature-conditioned gases pass therethrough. In the state where the object to be treated is placed on the ventilation placing table or the accommodation box accommodating the object to be treated is carried by the insert holding hole of the hold placing table, temperature-conditioned gases are passed from up to down or from down to up of the placing table.
