PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor capable of highly accurate driving and optical equipment having the ultrasonic motor.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic motor includes: a vibrator performing ultrasonic vibration by the application of a high frequency voltage; a slide member arbitrarily relatively moving to the vibrator; a base having the vibrator fixed thereto; and a support member for supporting the vibrator in a manner of arbitrary movement in forward and backward directions. The ultrasonic motor further includes a connection member for connecting the base to the support member. The connection member connects the base to the support member in a manner to have flexibility in a direction that the vibrator is pressed by the slide member, without looseness in the moving direction of the slide member.
