PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately compare and interpret lesion areas included in slice image groups captured at different times and by different modalities.SOLUTION: Slice image groups captured at a first time and at a second time are acquired (Steps S10 and S20). Then, three-dimensional tumor regions (the lesion areas) are automatically or semi-automatically extracted from the slice image groups (Steps S12 and S22), and the slice image with the largest tumor area is determined as a reference slice image of each slice image group (Steps S14 and S24).
