A medical suture having a penetration portion comprises: a first suture portion having no thorns； a thorn portion extending from the first suture portion and having a plurality of thorns formed with intervals； and a second suture portion extending from the thorn portion and having no thorns. The penetration portion can be formed in at least one of a region adjacent to the thorn portion of the first suture portion and a region adjacent to the thorn portion of the second suture portion in the width direction in a penetrating manner.
