PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an visceral fat measuring device capable of precisely and easily measuring an amount of the visceral fat.SOLUTION: The visceral fat measuring device 1 is provided with a device main body 2 and an ultrasonic probe 3. In the visceral fat measuring device 1, on the basis of a reflection wave signal obtained by transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave by the ultrasonic probe 3, an ultrasonic image of an abdominal part 8 of a human 7 is generated. On the basis of the ultrasonic image, a maximal value Pmax of preperitoneal fat thickness near the lever and a maximum value UmPmax of the preperitoneal fat thickness near the navel 9 are measured.
