PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device for holding a tablet in an upright attitude with a simplified structure for performing works such as inspection and printing or the like on a flattened tablet surface.SOLUTION: In the working transfer device for the tablet 3, an outer peripheral surface of a transfer body 2, rotated or drivably rotated about a lateral shaft 1, is provided with a pocket 4 in which the tablet 3, having flattened side surfaces, is accommodated in the upright attitude with the peripheral surface oriented in a vertical direction to perform printing, inspection or other work on a front surface or a rear surface of the tablet 3 accommodated in the pocket 4.
