The present invention relates to an arch-shaped mouth guard that can be detachably put on teeth in the upper jaw or lower jaw, wherein the mouth guard includes an indicator inside a main body thereof, which lets a user know the time to repair or replace the mouth guard resulting from abrasion of morsal surfaces. The mouth guard provides a means for notifying a user that the mouth guard needs to be repaired or replaced when an abrasion degree of a morsal surface reaches within a predetermined range. Therefore, the mouth guard can be repaired or replaced when it is in a proper range of abrasion which does not influence on the effect of the mouth guard.
