According to the present invention, disclosed are a wearable module system and a controlling method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the wearable module system, combined with a robot device capable of moving in a multi-axis direction to be able to be separated, includes: a wearing member which is combined with the main body of the robot device to be able to be separated and is worn on a part of a human body a magnetic material which is included between the wearing member and the main body a connection member which is combined with the wearing member in one side and is in contact with the magnetic material to be able to be separated in the other side and a control unit which allows the magnetic material to be in contact with the connection member or allows the magnetic material not to be in contact with the connection member in case of abnormality. The control unit extinguishes the magnetic force of the magnetic material in case of abnormality by controlling the strength and polarity of magnetic force of the magnetic material and the movement of the wearing member or changes the polarity of the magnetic material to push the connection member combined with the wearing member from the magnetic material. The controlling method of the wearable module system can separate a mechanical system from a rehabilitation patient when an emergency occurs.본 발명은 웨어러블 모듈 시스템 및 그 제어방법을 개시한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 웨어러블 모듈 시스템은, 다축 방향으로 이동 가능한 로봇 장치에 분리 가능하게 결합되는 웨어러블 모듈 시스템에 있어서, 상기 로봇 장치의 본체에 분리 가능하게 결합되고, 신체 일 부분에 착용되는 착용부재 상기 착용부재와 상기 본체 사이에 구비되는 자성체 일 측은 상기 착용부재와 결합되고, 타 측은 상기 자성체와 분리 가능하게 접촉되는 연결부재 및 상기 자성체와 상기 연결부재를 접촉시키거나, 이상 발생 시 상기 자성체와 상기 연결부재를 비 접촉시키는 제어부를 포함하고, 상기 제어부는 상기 착용부재의 움직임과 상기 자성체의 자력의 세기 및 극성을 제어하여 이상 발생 시 상기 자성체의 자력을 소멸시키거나, 상기 착용부재와 결합된 상기 연결부재를 상기 자성체로부터 밀어내도록 상기 자성체의 극성을 변화시키는 것을 특징으로 한다.
