The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for preventing skin aging and improving skin firmness, comprising an orange peel extract as an effective component, wherein the orange peel extract is obtained by extracting a mixture of 100 parts by weight of ground orange peel material and 500-2,000 parts by weight of water at 110-130C for 15-30 minutes. The cosmetic composition of the present invention exhibits excellent antioxidant activity, and effectively suppresses fat accumulation of adipocytes, and thus provides superior effects in preventing skin aging and improving skin firmness. Additionally, by using orange peels, which are typically discarded, the cosmetic composition of the present invention serves to reduce the environmental pollution, and can provide a boost to the development and retention of orange farms by bringing an additional income thereto.본 발명은 오렌지 껍질 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부의 노화 방지 및 탄력 개선용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 오렌지 껍질 분쇄물 100중량부에 물 500 내지 2000중량부를 첨가하고 110 내지 130℃에서 15 내지 30분간 추출하여 수득한 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부의 노화 방지 및 탄력 개선용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 화장료 조성물은 우수한 항산화 활성을 나타내고 지방세포의 지방축적을 효과적으로 억제함으로써 우수한 피부 노화 방지 효과 및 피부 탄력 개선 효과를 제공할 수 있다. 또한 본 발명의 화장료 조성물은 폐기처분되는 오렌지 껍질을 활용하는 것이므로 나아가서는 환경오염을 줄이는데 도움이 될 것이며, 오렌지를 재배하는 농가에 부수적인 수입을 제공함으로써 농가의 유지 및 발전에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
