The inspection equipment comprises: an excitation means for exciting the egg surface of the eggs to be inspected； a vibration detection means for detecting vibrations generated by the excitation means； and a judgment means for judging whether the eggs to be inspected is derived from a young-aged chicken group based on the speed at which the amplitude of the vibration detected by the vibration detection means is damped.
