The present invention relates to compounds, methods and/or kits for determining and/or predicting and/or treating restenosis in a patient. The patient is a subject suffering from acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The compounds, methods and kits for the diagnosis or prediction of restenosis in the subject relates to the levels of sRAGE, TNF-α, sVCAM-1 or AGE in a serum sample from said subject. Treatment involves administration of agents that increases the amount of sRAGE in a subject and/or decreases the amount of AGE in a subject who has a low level of sRAGE or high ratio of AGE/sRAGE based on a serum measurement.La présente invention concerne des composés, des compositions, des méthodes et/ou des trousses pour déterminer et/ou prédire et/ou traiter une resténose chez un patient.
