The invention relates to compositions and methods useful for enhancing hair growth and promoting skin regeneration. Particularly, the invention provides topical compositions including trimebutine, salts, or active metabolites thereof, for enhancing or inducing hair growth and promoting skin regeneration. Compositions comprising trimebutine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or active metabolite thereof and their use in the method of promoting hair growth or skin regeneration. Preferably trimebutine is trimebutine maleate or N-desmethyl trimebutine. Compositions are preferably in a form for topical administration, such as a gel.Linvention concerne des compositions et des procédés utiles pour améliorer la croissance capillaire et favoriser la régénération de la peau. En particulier, linvention concerne des compositions topiques comprenant de la trimébutine, des sels, ou des métabolites actifs de celle-ci, pour augmenter ou induire la croissance capillaire et favoriser la régénération de la peau. Linvention concerne en outre des compositions comprenant de la trimébutine ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable ou un métabolite actif de celle-ci et leur utilisation dans le procédé de promotion de la croissance capillaire ou de la régénération de la peau. De préférence la trimébutine est le maléate de trimébutine ou la N-desméthyltrimébutine. Les compositions sont, de préférence, sous une forme pour une administration topique, tel quun gel.
