PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type disposable diaper which a wearer easily pulls up.SOLUTION: An underpants type disposable diaper is divided into a front body section 1 in contact with the abdominal part of a wearer, a back body section 2 in contact with the back part of the wearer, and a crotch part 3 positioned between them, in a longitudinal direction. Also, in the underpants type disposable diaper, a waist opening 5 and a pair of left and right leg opening parts 6 are formed by joining left and right body side parts 4 of the front body section 1 and the back body section 2. The front body section 1 and/or the back body section 2 are provided with one or more curved elastic members 70 extending in a width direction of the diaper.
