PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scoop net capable of readily carrying out operation raising a net part to the upper direction and taking a stance when receiving a flying fish.SOLUTION: The scoop net (1) is equipped with a bag-shaped net part (10) capable of retaining a fish in the interior and a grip (20) protruded from a part of upper end periphery of the net part (10) and shortly formed than a diameter of the net part (10). The center (G) of gravity of the scoop net (1) is formed so as to position from the front end (22a) of a pattern (20) to the rear end thereof and formed so as to position the length ranging from the front end (22a) of the pattern (20) to the center (G) of gravity in the range of 6.3% to 23.8%.
