A method of testing a patient for allergies includes obtaining from the patient a blood sample having an original volume of at most 0.5 ml, and testing the blood sample for IgE reactive with antigens from a plurality of allergen sources by multiple ELISA. The blood sample may be taken from the patient in a clinic, and/or the blood sample may be taken by a physician without venipuncture. The blood sample may be dried. A protein array for testing blood for IgE may be used in the multiple ELISA, and includes a plurality of regions or spots on a surface, each region or spot containing a mixture of different proteins from a single allergen source. If the patient is determined to have allergies, the patient may be treated by allergy immunotherapy, including administering to the patient the at least one allergen source.La présente invention concerne un procédé de test dun patient pour des allergies, consistant à obtenir du patient un échantillon de sang ayant un volume initial dau plus 0,5 ml et doser, dans léchantillon de sang, lIgE réactif aux antigènes à partir dune pluralité de sources dallergènes par plusieurs ELISA. Léchantillon de sang peut être prélevé sur le patient dans une clinique et/ou léchantillon de sang peut être prélevé par un médecin sans ponction veineuse. Léchantillon de sang peut être séché. Un réseau de protéines destiné à doser lIgE dans le sang peut être utilisé dans plusieurs ELISA et comprend une pluralité de régions ou de points sur une surface, chaque région ou point contenant un mélange de différentes protéines provenant dune seule source dallergène.
