A cutter device for cutting a workpiece for an absorptive article conveyed in the conveyance direction. The cutter device is provided with: a cutter roller which rotates about the rotation axis thereof extending in the direction intersecting the conveyance direction and which has a cutter blade provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cutter roller so as to protrude from the outer peripheral surface an anvil roller which rotates in association with the rotation of the cutter roller and which has an outer peripheral surface disposed so as to face the outer peripheral surface of the cutter roller and receiving the cutter blade and a backup roller which has predetermined contact portions which are made to be in contact with and pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the anvil roller to prevent the deflection and deformation of the anvil roller. Annular protrusions are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cutter roller at positions closer to the ends of the outer peripheral surface in the direction of the rotation axis than the position of the cutter blade. The annular protrusions protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the cutter roller and are in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the anvil roller.
