The present invention relates to a method of treating or preventingunscheduled bleeding in women, said unscheduled bleeding being the result ofrepeated administration of a hormonal composition that contains a progestogen,wherein the method comprises the administration of an effective amount ofRenin Angiotensin System (RAS) suppressor selected from the group consistingof angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors； angiotensin II receptorantagonists； renin inhibitors and combinations thereof. Other aspects of theinvention relate to a pharmaceutical composition containing a RAS suppressorand a progestogen and to a pharrnaceutical kit comprising a plurality ofdosage units, wherein at least one dosage unit contains a progestogen； atleast one dosage unit contains an estrogen； and at least one dosage unitcontains a RAS suppressor.
