An absorbent composite comprising: a base material and water-absorbent resin particles wherein the following conditions (1) to (4) are fulfilled: (1) the weight ratio of water-absorbent resin relative to the total weight of the base material and water-absorbent resin is 65 to 99 wt%, (2) the water-absorbent resin particles adhering directly to the base material constitute 50 wt% or more of the total water-absorbent resin particles (3) the average absorption capacity of the water-absorbent resin particles is 50 g/g or more and (4) the amount of residual monomers in the water-absorbent resin is 200 ppm or less.本發明係關於一種吸收性複合體,其包含基材及吸水性樹脂粒子,且滿足以下條件(1)~(4):(1)吸水性樹脂相對於上述基材與吸水性樹脂總重量之重量比為65~99重量%、(2)與上述基材直接接著之吸水性樹脂粒子占全部吸水性樹脂粒子之50重量%以上、(3)上述吸水性樹脂粒子之平均吸收倍率為50 g/g以上、(4)上述吸水性樹脂中之殘存單體含量為200 ppm以下。
