PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more reliable vascular closure configuration and a technique.SOLUTION: A device for forming a tract comprises an anchor assembly. At least one distal tip of a flexible distal portion 2 is configured to be placed within a lumen of a blood vessel 16 through a first passage created across a wall with a sharpened member at a first angle to a lumen longitudinal axis defined by the lumen of the blood vessel in a region adjacent to the first passage.
