The proposed invention is related to medicine, in particular to haemostatic and wound healing medicines, and can be used to stop bleeding of various levels of severity, inter alia, venous bleeding, as well as for healing wounds and cuts sustained as a result of mechanical action on the epidermal and muscle tissue layers. A haemostatic medicine comprising an active gelling component based on chitosan and/or derivatives thereof comprises chitosan, salts thereof and/or derivatives thereof and/or chitosan block copolymers in the form of a gel having a three-dimensional cross-linked structure as a polymeric matrix with natural thrombosis components in the form of organic calcium compounds arranged thereon, an organic acid and water, the components being present in the following ratio, wt.%: chitosan, salts thereof and/or derivatives thereof - 0.2-30; organic calcium compounds - 0.01-10; organic acid - 0.1-10; water - the rest. Block and graft copolymers such as chitosan-polyvinyl pyrrolidone, chitosan-poly-2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate/poly-2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate, chitosan-polylactide, chitosan-polyglycolide are used as chitosan derivatives, and aspartic acid, succinic acid or nicotinic acid is used as an organic acid. The medicine comprises calcium glycerophosphate, calcium gluconate, calcium succinate or calcium nicotinate as natural thrombosis components in the form of organic calcium compounds complex-linked with chitosan.
