PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is capable of suppressing the leakage of bodily fluids by being continuously worn on a suitable position of the body, while reducing wetness and being more comfortable when worn.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (1) has a longitudinal direction (L) and a width direction (W), which are perpendicular to each other, and includes: a liquid-permeable surface sheet (10)； an air-permeable and liquid-impermeable rear sheet (20)； an absorbent body (30) having at least a pulp (31) and a highly absorbent polymer (32)； and an adhesive section (50) disposed in a non-skin-facing surface of the rear sheet. The outer edge of the absorbent body is located further inside than the outer edge of the absorbent article.
