PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a high quality elastic image to be stably visualized at an arbitrary time phase in ultrasonic elastography.SOLUTION: A hand placing base 12 is connected to an arm placing base 11 with a hinge. A positioning table 14 is arranged on the arm placing base 11. A Z stage 15 whose height can be adjusted is installed on the positioning table 14. An exciting mechanism 20 is fixed to the Z stage 15. The exciting mechanism 20 is controlled by a vibration controller to vibrate an ultrasonic probe 30 with a constant amplitude, frequency and waveform. An arm is put between the arm placing base 11 and the positioning table 14, the arm is placed on the arm placing base 11, the hand is placed on the hand placing base 12, and a hinge angle is adjusted to fix the arm. The Z stage 15 is adjusted to bring the ultrasonic probe 30 into contact with a wrist and the ultrasonic probe 30 is excited by the exciting mechanism 20 to visualize an elastic image.
